We have a number of exciting opportunities available for Diploma Qualified Educators! 

Full time (temporary until 30 June 2024) and Casual positions available. (Job share may be considered for the full time roles) This is your chance to be part of an exciting team at our Knox City Council Early Years Hubs, across the Long Day Care (child care) program.

Our Integrated Early Years Hubs consist of Childcare, Kindergarten, Maternal and Child Health and Playgroup on the one site. 

Our Diploma Qualified Educators work collaboratively to provide high quality early childhood education and care, meeting the individual needs and interests of children and families. In addition, Diploma Qualified Educators will prepare and implement educational programs for children aged 0-6 years within the guidelines of the National Quality Framework.

This is a Band 4 classified role, remuneration will be $69,307.00 - $73,819.44 (pro rata for part time) plus superannuation.

What you will need to thrive

  • Diploma of Children’s Services, or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated understanding of National Education & Care Services National Regulations, Education & Care Services National Law Act and National & Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Frameworks and Victorian Child Safe Standards;
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with adults and children.

The Early Years Hubs (Knox Children and Family Centres Wantirna South and Bayswater) are purpose-built facilities where our teams work in a multi-agency way with a focus on providing high quality early years services in the community, supporting families and nurturing the learning and development of children. The services provided within the hubs include Long Day Care, Kindergarten, Maternal Child Health and Playgroup.
