About the role 

An exciting 4 month secondment opportunity, part time (30 hours a week) for a Health Administration/Program Support Officer who will work collaboratively with the Health Services team (including Council’s immunisation service) to deliver professional, efficient, and high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for responding to general enquiries within the Health Services department.
 
This is a part time temporary role based at Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 5 classified role. Remuneration will be $78,036.84 to $90,793.94 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. 

What you will bring to this role  

The key selection criteria for this role are: 

Knowledge and understanding of the Food Act, Public Health & Wellbeing Act, Environment Protection Act, Tobacco Act regulations within a local government environment.

Experience using the Pathway system.

Ability to work independently and be able to identify and prioritise competing tasks in a timely manner.

Demonstrated high level of initiative with a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to think in an integrated manner.

Excellent interpersonal skills with high commitment to excellent customer service.

Proven administrative experience including strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in electronic data management.
