About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary full time secondment until 7th of November 2025 for the role of Community Care Performance and Strategy Program Lead reporting to the Manager Community Access and Support in the Connected Communities Directorate. The role requires you to: 

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the quality functions of the department, including compliance with funding guidelines, the Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS) and OH&S.
  • Coordinate and facilitate support for a business/data management system to assist integrated service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic planning.
  • Prepare relevant reports to capture service delivery, gaps and trends

This is a full time temporary role based at Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 7 classified role. Remuneration will be $110,732.77 to $124,189.64 (depending on experience) (pro-rata) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. 

What you will bring to this role  

The key selection criteria for this role are: 

  • Knowledge of current trends and issues impacting on Seniors, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated project management, contract management, resource management and research skills.
  • Ability to extract and report on statistical data, with adaptation as necessary and present this information to different audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, particularly in relation to the preparation of written reports
