About the Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic and positive team player to join our Civic Centre Operations team! We have a temporary 12-month Part-Time role available for a Civic Centre Officer based at the Knox Civic Centre. You will provide support to Knox City Council through the efficient operation of the Civic Centre and ensure a high level of security is maintained at all times.
Your duties will include preparation and set up of Civic Centre function rooms for events or meetings, assist and support catering tasks with external caterers, raising of the Council flag when appropriate, and monitoring the cleanliness and maintenance of the Civic Centre. This role is varied and no 2 days are the same!
This is a Band 4 classified role, working 21.5 hours per week. Remuneration will be $33.63 - $35.87 per hour (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

- Ability to accept deliveries, manage stock and move office furniture with ease.

- The successful candidate will be required to complete a Police Check, Medical and Functional Check.
