We have a number of new and exciting opportunities available for Diploma Qualified Educators on a casual basis. This is your chance to be part of an exciting team at our Knox City Council Early Years Hubs, across Childcare and Kindergarten in a flexible approach that meets your own work life balance.
The Diploma Qualified Educator will work collaboratively to provide high quality early childhood education and care, meeting the individual needs and interests of children and families. In addition, you will have an opportunity to input in the preparation and implementation of educational programs for children aged 0-6 years within the guidelines of the National Quality Framework.
We have several casual positions available within the Early Years Hubs (Childcare and Kindergarten), located in Bayswater and Wantirna South. As a casual employee, you will be able to have some flexibility in your days and hours of work.
This is a Band 4 classified role, with a casual rate of $42.03 - $44.84 per hour, plus superannuation.
What you will need to thrive
- Diploma of Childrens Services, or equivalent;
- Demonstrated understanding of National Education & Care Services National Regulations, Education & Care Services National Law Act and National & Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Frameworks;
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with adults and children.

The Early Years Hubs are purpose-built facilities where our teams work in a multi-agency way with a focus on providing high quality early years services in the community, supporting families and nurturing the learning and development of children.
