We are recruiting for enthusiastic Certificate III educators to join the Kindergartens Services team in both stand-alone Kindergarten as well as Early Years Hubs. These are fixed term contracts until the 31 December 2024.

We are recruiting for a number of full time and part time roles across varied days of the week. These roles are either 38 hours or 20.5 hours. 

We also have break relief roles for 4 hours or 6 hours per week.

The successful applicant will possess appropriate qualifications, excellent communication skills, proven customer service skills, and a Working With Children Check.

The Certificate III Qualified Educator is required to work collaboratively across Family and Children’s Services to provide high quality early childhood education and care, meeting the individual needs and interests of children and families. The key competencies for this role include: Customer Focus, Instils Trust, Collaborates, Demonstrates Self-Awareness, Action Oriented, Situational Adaptability, Being Resilient, Values Differences.

Our Kindergarten staff are employed under the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (‘EEEA 2020’) or its successor, which is in line with the Victorian School Term dates.

The successful applicant will possess appropriate qualifications, excellent communication skills, proven customer service skills, and a Working With Children Check.

This is a EEEA Certificate III Level 1.1 to 1.6 classified role, remuneration will be $51,971.29 to $62,772.53 (pro rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

  • Demonstrated understanding of National Education & Care Services National Regulations, Education & Care Services National Law Act and National & Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Frameworks

About the Integrated Kindergartens Service

Knox Kindergartens has 20 Sessional kindergartens across the municipality. This includes 18 Stand alone kindergarten sites, as well as two Early Years Hubs that provide Sessional Kindergarten and Kindergarten in Long Day Care. Kindergarten practitioners work in a collaborative way with a focus on providing high quality early years services in the community, supporting families and nurturing the learning and development of children. We are a large team that offers many opportunities for networking and learning with like-minded high quality educators.

Knox Kindergartens uses the Pyramid Model Framework to support relationships, and the social and emotional development of children.
