Your new role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Coordinator to join our Strategic Procurement and Property team. 
As our Property Coordinator you will make a difference daily by providing expert strategic property advice across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include regular review and rationalisation of Councils assets as well as effective, efficient, property management of Councils portfolio, including leases.

This is a part time permanent role, offered at 0.8 (4 days equivalent) based at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, Wantirna South. We can offer a range of hybrid work options for the right candidate.

This is a Band 8 classified role; remuneration will be $122,052.72 - $137,037.50 (pro-rata) (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will need to thrive

The key selection criteria for this role are:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive relevant experience is required.
  • Post graduate qualification in a property related field, business/finance or legal discipline is highly desired.
  • Extensive experience in the function of Property Management within a Government setting is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Packages such as Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
