About the role
We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to help us manage contracts and procurement processes with a mix of expertise and creativity. In this role, you’ll coordinate tender processes, provide training on procurement systems, and ensure compliance with all the important rules and regs. It’s a perfect opportunity for someone who loves a challenge and enjoys making things run smoothly!
What You’ll Do (and have fun doing it!):
- Take the lead on managing contracts and tenders.
- Provide training and guidance on procurement systems.
- Ensure everything complies with policies and legislation.
- Work with internal teams to make our procurement process even better.
This role is offered as anywhere from 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE, depending on the availability and preferences of the right candidate.
This role is based at our Civic Centre in Wantirna South, a short walk to the Knox Shopping precinct. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $95,488.69 to $104,288.00 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
- Experience in contract administration and procurement.
- Familiarity with procurement systems (bonus if you know Open Windows).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to problem-solve.
- Great attention to detail and a passion for getting things right.
- A degree or relevant experience in Business, Contract Management, or something similar.
