Senior People Experience Partner

Lead with Purpose. Partner with Impact.

We are looking for a new Senior People Experience Partner to join our energetic People, Culture and Development team. This is a leadership role that blends strategic HR partnering with team development, enabling you to make a meaningful impact across our Organisation.

Reporting to the Head of People Experience, you will lead a team of two partners and collaborate closely with senior leaders to deliver high-quality, end-to-end people experience services. Your role will encompass proactive case management, compliance assurance, leading change processes and driving initiatives that align with organisational priorities.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a forward-thinking HR professional who thrives in complexity. This is your opportunity to shape the employee experience, drive organisational change and build leadership capability in a collaborative and purpose driven environment.

This is a permanent role based at the Civic Centre located in Wantirna South.  The role is classified as a Band 7, remuneration will be $110,732.77 to $124,189.64 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.  

Your role in action

  • Leading and mentoring People Experience Partners to ensure high-quality, consistent HR support. 
  • Partnering with executive and senior leaders across multiple Directorates to provide strategic advice, coaching and workforce planning. 
  • Provide sound advice on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, compliance and employment contracts.
  • Support for change, performance, conduct and disciplinary matters.
  • Delivery of workforce planning, recruitment and change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with PCD leadership to implement people first solutions that align with organisational strategy.

Your toolkit for success

  • Substantial Senior HR partnering experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • Strong coaching and case management capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Proven ability to lead change and influence stakeholders.
  • High level interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Experience mentoring and developing HR professionals.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • A relevant degree or diploma, or extensive equivalent experience in human resources.
