About the role
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Advisor who is curious, creative and passionate about shaping great employee experiences through clear and meaningful communication.

This is a full-time permanent role based at the Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $98,353.35 to $107,416.64 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Be curious about the world around you and the people in it, with a demonstrated ability to assess context, think creatively and find new ways of reaching audiences.
- Experience developing and implementing communications plans to achieve defined outcomes, with previous experience in internal communications preferred.
- Be highly organised with a proven ability to manage a high volume of work, coordinating multiple tasks while effectively prioritising their pipeline to deliver high-quality communications within short timeframes and quick turnover.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence outcomes, and provide professional communications advice.
- A skilled writer with demonstrated ability to develop content for a wide range of mediums and tailoring communications to different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining an awareness of broader organisational priorities and community outcomes.
- Degree or Tertiary qualification in communications or related field combined with relevant experience.
