About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a competent records administrator to backfill the role of Corporate Information Officer. You will be responsible for opening and triaging incoming mail, scanning hard copy documents and registering both hard copy records and emails into Knox’s records management system KX. You will liaise with internal customers and external stakeholders and make a difference daily by providing support and advice across a range of records functions. You will report to the Team Leader Corporate Information and work collaboratively with the Corporate Information team.

This is a full time 3 month temporary role based at Knox Civic Centre.  We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 4 classified role, remuneration will be $71,212.94 - $75,849.47 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the superannuation guarantee.

What you will bring to this role  

The key selection criteria for this role are: 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Public Records Act 1973, supporting PROV Standards, Specifications, Guidelines and Advices.
  • Demonstrated application of records management policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience with an electronic document records management system (EDRMS) and proficiency in the use of desktop based office applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in the handling, processing and distribution of all inward and outward mail items.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
