About the role
The Organisational Development team at Knox are rebuilding after some internal movements. The team are committed to ensuring they are proactively contributing to Knox's future success through people and skills. Working as part of a specialist Organisational Development team within People, Culture and Development, this role focuses on shaping how Council attracts, develops and retains its workforce in a way that is fair, inclusive and sustainable. You will lead the design of key talent levers including the Employee Value Proposition, recognition and appreciation, inclusive recruitment, early career pathways and career development, ensuring alignment with workforce planning priorities and organisational values.
This is a full time permanent role based at the Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 7 classified role. Remuneration will be from $110,732.77 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Demonstrated experience in Organisational Development, Talent Acquisition or Talent Management roles, with strong subject matter expertise across EVP, recruitment and early career pathways. Experience with traineeships and apprenticeships is desirable.
- Strong understanding of inclusive recruitment practices, workforce equity and contemporary talent approaches.
- Strong project and program management capability, with experience leading organisation-wide initiatives through design, implementation and governance.
- Strong analytical capability, using workforce data and insights to inform decision-making and present clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience applying workforce data, employee feedback and engagement insights to inform Council wide talent, inclusion and employee experience strategies.
