About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Surveillance Officer to join our team. As part of the Asset Preservation team you will make a difference daily by providing broad specialist support across the Infrastructure Project Delivery Unit and the Community Infrastructure team. Key responsibilities will include the issuing of permits, conducting inspections, the surveillance of subdivision civil works, the surveillance of building work sites to ensure compliance of Councils Local laws, and working collaboratively with the Project Delivery Team to assist in facilitating success on a number of our key civil construction projects. This is a full time permanent role based at our Civic Centre however we can offer a range of flexible work options for the right candidate.
This is a Band 5 classified role; remuneration will be $72,922.00 - $84,842.95 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will need to thrive
In order to be thrive in this position you will have:
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in civil construction;
- Well-developed computer literacy including proficient use in Microsoft Office Packages such as Outlook, Word and Powerpoint as well as geographic information systems and other relevant computer software;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to self-motivate and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
